Melody Paguio, RN, is the hospital’s latest recipient of the prestigious DAISY Award.
She joined the Huntington Park hospital in November 2018 and works on the telemetry unit.
Her nominator described her as a very helpful person, writing, “On days Melody is the charge nurse, she goes above and beyond, even doing tasks that do not belong to a charge nurse. She is always on top of everything, helping everyone with no hesitation.”
The Daisy Award is presented to nurses across the country for the extraordinary compassion and skillful care they provide to patients and their families.
