Results of the recent Culture of Safety Survey have been circulated to executive leaders across Pipeline Health for review, with action plans to follow. Rollout of the action plans – informed by employee input — is targeted for early in the new calendar year.
Meanwhile, employees of Community Hospital of Huntington Park enjoyed celebratory meals on the day and night shifts Nov. 11 and 13 in recognition of achieving the highest rate of participation – over 80 percent! — in the recent Culture of Safety Survey. The menu included: rotisserie chicken, rice, beans, potato salad, salsa and tortillas.
Hospital leaders joining CEO Hector Hernandez in the serving line included: Charlie Contrares, Nutrition and Food Service; Rosa Perez, HIM; Sharon Perez, Case Management; Alister Stewart, ED/ICU; Gustavo Mendoza, Security/EVS; Fidencio Quirarte, Facilities; and Emma Bonoan, Respiratory Therapy.
