Welcome to Victor Carrasco, who becomes interim Chief Executive Officer for Community Hospital of Huntington Park effective today (Jan. 12), as Paul Huon departs with our thanks for his service.
Victor assumes the interim role while continuing in his role as CEO of East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital, another hospital in our Pipeline Health system.
Victor is a healthcare executive with more than 15 years’ experience in healthcare leadership and operations. He has extensive expertise in the areas of strategic planning and fiscal management, both of which are assets to our healthcare system. His experience includes working with underserved communities, building coalitions and participating in nonprofit advocacy organizations.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Health Services Administration degree, both from St. Francis University in Illinois. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management at Southern Illinois University.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Victor is a member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of The American College of Healthcare Executives.
