David Barragan is the recipient of our Exemplary Employee Award for July.The award recognizes employee commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Barragan is a Registered Nurse II in our Emergency Department. He came to work here in September 2024. Following are comments from the five co-workers who nominated him for this award.
“David is amazing, he taught me everything I needed to know about the Emergency Department. Every time he comes to work, he goes above and beyond with both staff and patients. His professionalism is one that I appreciate.”
“David is an exceptionally great nurse. He comes into work with a positive attitude and is always willing to help his fellow staff. His bedside manner is great; the patients always seem to appreciate what he does for them. David is a real asset to this hospital and department.”
“Dave is a great mentor and co-worker. He has provided with much knowledge about the department. His years of experience allow me to feel comfortable when asking questions. He always makes himself available to help me or anyone else on the floor.”
