HUNTINGTON PARK, CA – Jan. 10, 2022 – Members of the community surrounding Community Hospital of Huntington Park have a new tool for achieving good health.
Health Connection is a community newsletter launched today to keep individuals informed about on topics to improve their health and maintain wellness. The inaugural issue features suggestions for health-related new year’s resolutions and tips for catching up on overdue health screenings. Recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination also are featured.
The monthly newsletter is available free of charge. Each issue will be distributed to an email list of community members and posted on the hospital’s website at www.communityhospitalhp.com. Printed copies will be distributed at local churches and other locations.
“We are proud of our history of caring for our community when individuals are ill and in need of care,” said hospital CEO Paul Huon. “The Health Connection newsletter is an opportunity to serve the community when they are well.
“We hope to help community members stay well and even improve their health through the topics we’ll cover in the monthly newsletter. We urge everyone to ‘connect’ with us through Health Connection.”
