
Hilda Manzo-Luna, RN
Hilda Manzo-Luna, RN, has joined the team at Community Hospital of Huntington Park as Chief Nursing Officer.
Manzo-Luna has deep experience in leadership, clinical operations, management, quality improvement, patient safety, risk, behavioral health, clinical education, case management and patient throughput.
“Hilda is a very experienced, well-rounded nurse executive, and we are delighted that she has arrived at Huntington Park,” said hospital CEO Hector Hernandez.
Manzo-Luna came to Pipeline Health from UCI Health-Lakewood, where she served as Chief Nursing Officer. There she had accountability for providing day-to-day operational leadership for the coordinated delivery of care. Additionally, she had responsibility for developing and monitoring daily staffing metrics to promote utilization of nursing resources, among other duties.
Her previous roles include: interim director of the Centinela Hospital ED with Prime Healthcare; CNO at Community Hospital Long Beach; CNO and Risk Manager with La Palma Intercommunity Hospital; staff nurse with Henry Mayo Hospital; and director of case management and social services at Western Medical Center.
Manzo-Luna expects to graduate in December with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of San Francisco. She holds a master of science degree in nursing and a bachelor of science degree in nursing with a public health credential, both from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
