Whenever Noel is on shift, the ED is set and ready to go. He is always helpful. He is the backbone of the ED.”
The other nominations included these comments:

His dedication, hard work and willingness to help everyone make all the difference. He truly is one of the best employees, and without him this ED would be turned upside down. He always puts patients first and has a positive attitude that lifts the team.”
“This ED has been incredibly lucky to have Noel, and it truly wouldn’t be the same without him. We appreciate everything he has done over the years. He has made a difference in more lives than he will ever know.”
“Noel is an amazing co-worker and an exceptional employee. Every time that he is here, he makes sure that the department is fully equipped to handle any emergency, and he helps facilitate work for the nurses. Noel is essential to our department, and I truly feel that without him the department would be lacking so much. Noel is a wonderful human being, kind, caring, and an overall amazing person.”
“Noel always goes above and beyond for all his patients and colleagues. He is always keeping the unit clean and stocked. He asks if his colleagues need anything. He ensures the safety of all patients on the unit. He expedites patients to floor quickly and efficiently. He intervenes at key moments where teaching is needed, and he does it with kindness.
