Congratulations to Pompeo Casabella, recipient of our Exemplary Employee Award for January. The award recognizes employee commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Pompeo joined Huntington Park in February 2017 and is a Radiology Technologist II working in Radiology Diagnostics. He was nominated by a co-worker who had this to say:
“I would like to nominate Pom for the Exemplary Employee Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to our Radiology Department. Pompeo has consistently demonstrated a high level of skill and professionalism, especially when it comes to performing CT and X-ray examinations.
He has shown a great willingness to teach and share his knowledge, and I can personally say I’ve learned a lot from observing his approach and technique.
What truly sets Pompeo apart is his dedication to patient care. Recently, during a CT head scan, he identified a subtle intracranial bleed and took immediate action by notifying the ER physician. His attentiveness and swift communication directly contributed to the patient being transferred out for a higher level of care—an action that undoubtedly made a critical difference.
Pompeo’s strong work ethic, clinical judgment, and collaborative attitude make him a tremendous asset to our team. His ability to balance efficiency with patient-centered care reflects the values we strive for every day. I believe Pompeo exemplifies what it means to go above and beyond, and I highly recommend him for this recognition.”
